Syrian Chicken Kebabs
A flavorful and spicy dish originating from Syria, this recipe combines the taste of chicken, garlic, and cumin with the convenience of a kebab.
Ingredients
- β500g Chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 tsp Syrian kebab spice mixstore-bought or homemade
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Olive oilfor brushing
- βchopped Fresh parsleyfor garnish
- β4-6 Pita breadfor serving
- β2 Lemon wedgesfor serving

1. In a large bowl, whisk together kebab spice mix, garlic, and olive oil.

2. Add chicken to the bowl and mix until well coated.

3. Thread chicken onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

4. Brush the grill or grill pan with olive oil and preheat to medium-high heat.

5. Grill the kebabs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through.

6. While the kebabs are cooking, toast the pita bread by wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven for a few minutes.
