German Flatbread with Syrian Meat
A simple German-inspired flatbread topped with a flavorful Syrian-style meat mixture. Great as a snack or light lunch.

- β1 loaf Syrian flatbread
- β500g Lean ground beef80/20 lean to fat ratio
- β1 large OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 tsp CuminGround
- β1 tsp PaprikaSmoked
- β1 tsp SaltTo taste
- β1 tsp Black pepperTo taste
- β50g ButterUnsalted

Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

Slice the flatbread into 1-inch thick pieces.

In a pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it into small pieces.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and cook until softened.

Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Add the butter to the pan and stir until melted.

Place the flatbread slices on a baking sheet and spoon the meat mixture on top of each.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the flatbread is crispy and the meat is heated through.
