Creamy Indian Jack Cheese Naan
A variation of traditional Indian naan bread, filled with creamy jack cheese and a touch of Australian colby cheese.
Ingredients
- β1/2 cup, shredded Australian Colby Cheese
- β1/4 cup, shredded Jack Cheese
- β1 cup Milk
- β1 teaspoon Yeast
- β1 teaspoon Sugar
- β2 cups Flour
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β2 tablespoons Butter, melted
- β1 egg Egg, beaten

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until the yeast is activated.

2. Add the sugar, flour, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a smooth dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes elastic.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

5. Preheat a non-stick skillet or tava over medium heat.

6. Divide the dough into 4-6 equal portions, depending on how large you want your naan to be.

7. Roll out each portion into a ball and then flatten it slightly into an oval shape.

8. Place the naan on the preheated skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until it starts to puff up.

9. Brush the naan with melted butter and flip it over.

10. Cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes until it's golden brown.

11. Meanwhile, mix the Australian colby cheese and jack cheese together in a bowl.
