Smoked Turkey Stew
A hearty, comforting stew made with smoked turkey and tender vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 Smoked Turkey Neckcut into large pieces
- β2 cups Dutch Velvety Stewavailable in most supermarkets
- β1 tsp Smoked Paprikaoptional
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β2 medium Carrotpeeled and chopped
- β2 large Potatopeeled and chopped
- β2 stalks Celerychopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β4 cups Chicken Brothhomemade or store-bought
- β1 tsp Saltto taste
- β1 tsp Black Pepperto taste

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped carrot and celery and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the smoked turkey neck and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Add the smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, and stir to combine.

Add the Dutch velvety stew and chicken broth, and stir to combine.

Bring the stew to a boil, then cover and transfer to the oven.

Bake at 300Β°F (150Β°C) for 2-3 hours, or until the meat is tender.
