Velvety Pork Skewers with German Flavor
A delicious and easy-to-make pork skewer recipe with a velvety twist, inspired by traditional German flavors.
Ingredients
- ●500g Pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubesChoose lean pork for a healthier option
- ●250ml Velvety sauce (see instructions)You can also use store-bought velvety sauce
- ●2 tbsp German mustardChoose a mild or spicy German mustard to your taste
- ●1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsleyOptional garnish
- ●12-15 Vegetable skewers (wooden or metal)Pre-soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes
- ●2 tbsp Olive oilYou can also use other neutral-tasting oils
- ● Salt and pepperTo taste
- ●1 tsp Garlic powderOptional, for extra flavor
- ●1 tsp PaprikaOptional, for extra flavor

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (180°C / 350°F).

In a large bowl, whisk together velvety sauce, German mustard, garlic powder, and paprika.

Add the pork cubes to the bowl and toss to coat with the sauce mixture.

Thread the pork cubes onto the vegetable skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Brush the skewers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes per side, or until the pork is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 71°C (160°F).

Transfer the skewers to a plate and garnish with chopped parsley (if using).

Serve the skewers hot with additional velvety sauce on the side (if desired).
