Italian Chocolate Mousse
A rich and creamy Italian dessert made with velvety chocolate and topped with a fluffy mousse. Perfect for a special occasion.
Ingredients
- ●200g Dark chocolateHigh-quality chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content
- ●250ml MilkWhole milk for a richer taste
- ●100g Velvety chocolate spreadFor the chocolate cake layer
- ●200g MousseReady-made mousse for the topping

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each interval.

In a separate bowl, whip the milk until it becomes frothy.

Pour the melted chocolate into a cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.

Let the cake cool completely in the pan.

Cut the cake into small pieces and layer them in a serving dish.

Spread a layer of velvety chocolate spread on top of the cake pieces.

Top with a layer of mousse and smooth the top.
