Mexican Lamb Koftas
A flavorful and spicy lamb kofta recipe inspired by Mexican cuisine. Serve with your favorite toppings and sides.
Ingredients
- β500g LambGround lamb
- β2 tbsp Mexican Stir Fry SauceAvailable at most supermarkets
- β1 tsp CuminGround cumin
- β1 tsp Chili PowderDried chili powder
- β2 tbsp Olive OilFor brushing the grill
- βto taste Salt and PepperFor seasoning
- βchopped Fresh CilantroFor garnish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, combine the lamb, Mexican stir fry sauce, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.

Do not overmix the lamb mixture.

Shape the lamb mixture into 8-10 koftas.

Brush the grill with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Grill the koftas for 5-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 63Β°C (145Β°F) for medium-rare.
