Egyptian Citrus Beef Stew

- β2 tbsp 2 tablespoons velvety olive oil
- β1 medium 1 onion, chopped
- β 2 cloves garlic, minced
- β1 cup 1 cup beef broth
- β1 cup 1 cup citrus juice
- β1 tsp 1 teaspoon egyptian spice blend
- β Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove beef and add onion; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add broth, citrus juice, and spice blend; stir to combine.

Return beef to pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 2 hours, or until beef is tender.
