Saudi-Style Thai Tuna Kebabs
A fusion dish that combines the flavors of Saudi Arabia and Thailand. This recipe features tuna kebabs marinated in a mixture of Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian spices.
Ingredients
- β500g TunaFresh tuna steak
- β2 tbsp Velvety TahiniOptional but adds a rich flavor
- β2 Roasted Red PeppersSliced
- β1 tsp Arabian Spice BlendCustom blend of cumin, coriander, cinnamon
- β1 tsp Thai Fish Sauce
- β2 tbsp Coconut Oil
- β2 tbsp Lime Juice
- β1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro

1. In a blender or food processor, combine Arabian Spice Blend, Thai Fish Sauce, lime juice, and 1 tbsp coconut oil. Blend until smooth.

2. Place the tuna in a large bowl and pour the marinade over it. Mix well to coat the tuna evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated tuna onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

4. Brush the grill with coconut oil to prevent sticking. Grill the tuna kebabs for 8-10 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

5. Meanwhile, heat the remaining 1 tbsp coconut oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the sliced roasted red peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly caramelized.

6. To assemble the kebabs, place a tuna skewer on each plate. Top with roasted red peppers, a spoonful of tahini sauce (if using), and garnish with chopped cilantro.
