Irish Oat Casserole
A hearty and comforting casserole made with Irish oats and gooey cheese.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Irish oats
- β1 cup, shredded Gooey cheese
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- β1 tsp Brown sugar
- β1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- β1/4 tsp Salt

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Add Irish oats and cook according to package instructions.

In a separate pan, melt vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add brown sugar and cinnamon; stir until sugar dissolves.

Add cooked oats to the pan with sugar mixture and stir well.

Transfer oats mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Sprinkle gooey cheese on top of the oats mixture.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
