Uruguayan-Style Prawn Skewers
Grilled prawn skewers with a Uruguayan twist, featuring vibrant and charred flavors. Perfect for a sunny day.
Ingredients
- β12 large prawnspeeled and deveined
- β1 box tiger prawn skewerswooden or metal
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β1 tsp lime juice
- β1 tsp chopped fresh cilantro
- β1 tsp garlic powder
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
- β1 tsp charred red pepper flakes
- β2 tbsp vibrant chimichurri saucesee below for recipe

1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375Β°F).

2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lime juice, cilantro, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

3. Add the prawns to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.

4. Thread the marinated prawns onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each prawn.

5. Brush the grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

6. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the prawns are pink and cooked through.

7. Serve immediately with vibrant chimichurri sauce (see below for recipe).
