Saganaki Sausage Skillet
A flavorful Greek-inspired skillet dish featuring crispy fried saganaki and juicy sausages.
Ingredients
- β1 block (6 oz) Saganaki cheese
- β4 links Greek sausageslook for a combination of pork and lamb
- β2 Vibrant bell pepperany color
- β2 tbsp Citrusy lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- β2 tbsp Olive oilextra virgin
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleychopped

1. Cut the saganaki cheese into 1-inch cubes.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add the Greek sausages and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.

4. Remove the sausages from the skillet and set aside.

5. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.

6. Add the sliced bell pepper and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

7. Add the saganaki cheese cubes to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

8. Return the sausages to the skillet and stir in the lemon juice.
