Lechon Kawali with Turkey and Ham
A fusion Filipino dish with crispy pork belly, turkey, and ham. Perfect for a party or gathering.
Ingredients
- β1 kg Pork Belly (Lechon)
- β500g Turkey Breast
- β250g Ham
- β1 cup Vinegar
- β2 cups Water
- β2 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black Pepper
- β4 cloves Garlic
- β4 leaves Bay Leaves

1. In a large pot, combine vinegar, water, salt, black pepper, garlic, and bay leaves.

2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

3. Add the pork belly to the pot and simmer for 30 minutes or until the meat is tender.

4. Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 180Β°C.

5. Remove the pork belly from the pot and let it cool slightly.

6. Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces and deep-fry until crispy.

7. Grill the turkey breast until cooked through.
