Grilled Jamaican Yam
A flavorful and easy-to-make side dish that combines the sweetness of yam with the bold flavors of Jamaican spices.

- β grillfor grilling
- β2 tsp jamaican jerk seasoning
- β1 tbsp vibrant coconut oil
- β1 tbsp garlicky olive oil

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Peel and slice the yams into 1-inch thick rounds.

In a small bowl, mix together the Jamaican jerk seasoning and coconut oil.

Brush the yams with the coconut oil mixture, making sure to coat them evenly.

Place the yams on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are tender and slightly charred.

While the yams are cooking, mix together the garlicky olive oil and a squeeze of lime juice.
