Tagine Chicken with Pistachio Crust
A flavorful North African-inspired dish with the rich flavors of a tagine, topped with a crunchy pistachio crust.
Ingredients
- β4 Chicken breastBoneless and skinless
- β1/2 Golden polish sausageSliced
- β2 tsp Tagine spice blendAvailable at most Middle Eastern or North African markets
- β2 tbsp Vibrant beurreUnsalted butter
- β1/2 cup NoisetteChopped almonds
- βto taste SaltKosher or sea salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleyChopped

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.

Heat the beurre in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and top with sliced polish sausage.

In a small bowl, mix together the tagine spice blend and noisette.

Sprinkle the spice blend mixture over the top of the chicken and sausage.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
