Shrimp and Saffron Paella
A classic Spanish dish with a smoky twist. This paella recipe combines succulent shrimp and vibrant saffron-infused rice.
Ingredients
- ●2 teaspoons Smoked paprika
- ●1/4 teaspoon Vibrant saffron threadssoaked in 2 tablespoons hot water
- ●1 cup Mediterranean rice
- ●1 pound Shrimppeeled and deveined
- ●2 tablespoons Olive oil
- ●2 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 cup Tomatodiced

Heat olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add tomato and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add smoked paprika and saffron (with its water) and stir to combine.

Add Mediterranean rice and stir to coat with the spice mixture.

Add shrimp and stir to combine with the rice mixture.

Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Transfer the paella pan to the oven and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the shrimp are pink.
