Paneer Rasmalai
A rich and creamy Indian dessert made with paneer, rasmalai and a hint of umami flavor.
Ingredients
- β250g PaneerCubed
- β200g RasmalaiStore-bought or homemade
- β500ml MilkFull-fat milk
- β100g SugarGranulated sugar
- β1 tsp Cardamom powderGround cardamom
- β1 tsp KesarSaffron threads

Combine sugar, cardamom powder and saffron in a saucepan.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the milk to the saucepan and stir well.

Add the paneer to the saucepan and stir gently.

Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the paneer is well coated with the milk mixture.

Stir in the rasmalai and cook for a further 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Serve chilled, garnished with cardamom powder and kesar.
