Crispy Portuguese Chicken Skewers

- β1 pound Chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β1/2 cup Portuguese bread crumbsfor coating
- β1 Eggbeaten
- β1/4 cup All-purpose flourfor coating
- β1/4 cup Olive oilfor brushing
- β1 teaspoon Garlic powderoptional
- βto taste Saltoptional
- βto taste Pepperoptional
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleychopped (for garnish)

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, coating both sides evenly.

Dip the flour-coated chicken piece into the beaten egg, making sure to coat completely.

Roll the egg-coated chicken piece in the Portuguese bread crumbs, pressing the crumbs onto the chicken to help them stick.
