Crunchy Chicken Toast
A simple and flavorful Chinese-inspired dish made with crispy chicken and crunchy toast.
Ingredients
- β1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breastcut into bite-sized pieces
- β4 slices breadpreferably a crusty bread
- β1/4 cup vegetable oilfor frying
- β1 tablespoon granulated sugarfor marinade
- β2 tablespoons soy saucefor marinade
- β1 cup crushed corn flakesfor crunchy topping

Preheat a deep frying pan with 1/4 cup of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

In a separate bowl, whisk together soy sauce and sugar. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per batch.

Meanwhile, toast the bread until lightly browned.

To assemble the Crunchy Chicken Toast, place a piece of toasted bread on a plate, top with a piece of fried chicken, and sprinkle with crushed corn flakes.
