Argentinian Peach Empanadas
Sweet and savory empanadas filled with caramelized peaches, a classic Argentinian dessert.
Ingredients
- β4-6 pieces warm empanada dough
- β1 cup caramelized peaches
- β2 tablespoons brown sugar
- β1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- β1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- β1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- βpinch flaky sea salt

1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

2. Roll out the warm empanada dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

3. Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

4. In a small bowl, mix together the caramelized peaches, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract.

5. Place a tablespoon of the peach mixture in the center of each dough circle.

6. Fold the dough in half to form a half-moon shape and press the edges together to seal the empanada.

7. Brush the tops of the empanadas with the unsalted butter and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
