Korean-Style Songpyeon Udon Noodles
A unique fusion recipe combining the textures of warm, flaky songpyeon with udon noodles in a traditional Korean-inspired dish.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Udon noodlespreferably fresh
- β4 pieces Songpyeonwarm, flaky
- β1 tsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)adjust to taste
- β2 tbsp Sesame oilfor pan-frying
- β1/4 cup Green onionschopped
- β2 tbsp Soy saucefor seasoning
- β1 tsp Sesame seedsoptional garnish
Instructions

Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.

Pan-fry the warm, flaky songpyeon until crispy and golden brown. Set aside.

In the same pan, add Korean chili flakes and stir for 1 minute.

Add cooked udon noodles to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Season with soy sauce and toss to coat.

Add pan-fried songpyeon on top of the noodles and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds (if using).
