German Pork Dumplings
A hearty German dish made with juicy pork and fluffy dumplings. Serve with a side of sauerkraut for a traditional meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Pork shoulderCut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 cups All-purpose flourFor dumpling dough
- β1 EggFor dumpling dough
- β1 teaspoon SaltTo taste
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepperTo taste
- β2 tablespoons ButterFor dumpling topping
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β1 teaspoon Caraway seedsOptional
- β1 cup SauerkrautFor serving

1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook dumplings until they float to the surface.
