Chicken Curry
A flavorful and aromatic Indian-inspired dish made with marinated chicken in a rich curry sauce. Serve over basmati rice or with naan bread.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1-inch piece Ginger
- β2 teaspoons Curry powder
- β1 teaspoon Turmeric
- β1 teaspoon Cumin
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1 cup Yogurt
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β1/4 cup Chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Marinate the chicken in yogurt, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, salt, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.

Add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the marinated chicken to the saucepan and cook until browned.

Add the curry powder and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in the yogurt and cook until the sauce thickens.
