Warm French Semolina Pudding
A comforting dessert made with semolina, warm milk, and a hint of jammy flavor.
Ingredients
- β1 cup semolinafine or medium semolina
- β2 cups warm milkwhole milk or low-fat milk
- β1/2 jammy doughnutoptional, for garnish
- β1/4 cup eclair pastryoptional, for garnish
- βpinch saltto taste
- β2 tablespoons unsalted buttersoftened
- β2 tablespoons granulated sugaror to taste

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a medium saucepan, combine semolina, warm milk, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring constantly, for 5-7 minutes or until the semolina is cooked and the mixture has thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in softened butter and granulated sugar until well combined.

Pour the pudding mixture into 4-6 individual serving cups.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the puddings are set and lightly golden brown.
