Slovakian Pork Stir Fry
A traditional Slovakian dish featuring tender pork, stir-fried with a variety of vegetables and served with warm, silky egg noodles.
Ingredients
- β1 pound pork loincut into thin strips
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor stir-frying
- β1 medium onionsliced
- β1 medium bell peppersliced
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 teaspoon slovakian paprikasmoked
- β8 ounces warm egg noodlescooked according to package instructions
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the pork to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper and cook until tender, about 4-5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Add the cooked pork back into the skillet and stir in the Slovakian paprika. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Serve the pork and vegetable mixture over warm egg noodles.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or dill, if desired.
