Pan-Seared Duck Breast with Spicy Rillettes
A French-inspired dish featuring pan-seared duck breast served with a side of spicy rillettes.

- β1/4 cup Rillettesspicy, store-bought or homemade
- β1 sprig Fresh thymefresh

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season duck breast with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear duck breast for 2-3 minutes on each side, then transfer to the oven.

Roast duck breast for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.

While the duck is cooking, cook the bacon in the skillet until crispy.

Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.

Add the sliced onion to the skillet and cook until softened.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
