Egyptian Banana Fritters
A delicious dessert inspired by Egyptian cuisine, fritters made with ripe bananas and a hint of warm spices.
Ingredients
- β3 Ripe bananasMashed
- β1 cup Egyptian frittersPre-made or homemade
- β1 tsp Warm spices (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger)Mixed together
- β1/2 cup SugarGranulated
- β1/2 cup Vegetable oilFor frying

Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.

Add the warm spices, sugar, and mix until well combined.

Add the pre-made or homemade fritters to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Using a spoon, drop the dough into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Remove the fritters from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
