Warm Fish Stew
A hearty fish stew made with Mediterranean flavors, served warm and perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients
- β4 Fish fillets (halibut or cod) Fresh or frozen
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β2 medium TomatoChopped
- β1 tsp Mediterranean seasoning
- β2 tbsp Lemon juice
- β1/4 cup White wine (optional)Dry white wine
- β2 cups Water

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the fish fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Add the chopped tomato, Mediterranean seasoning, lemon juice, and white wine (if using).

Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low and let the stew cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the stew warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
