Warm Charred Fish Bowl
A delicious and easy-to-make Portuguese-inspired fish dish, served in a warm and charred bowl.
Ingredients
- β4 Fish Fillets ( Cod or Haddock )Fresh and sustainable
- β2 tbsp Olive OilExtra virgin
- β2 tbsp Lemon JuiceFreshly squeezed
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 tsp Chili FlakesOptional
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- βchopped Fresh ParsleyFor garnish
- β1 Warm Charred BowlPortuguese-style bowl
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the fish fillets with salt, black pepper, and chili flakes (if using).

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium heat.

Sear the fish fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.

Meanwhile, prepare the warm charred bowl by placing it in the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until warmed through.

Remove the bowl from the oven and place the cooked fish fillets on top.

Squeeze the lemon juice over the fish and sprinkle with minced garlic.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
