Saudi Arabian Egg Noodle Dumplings
A traditional Arabian twist on a classic dumpling recipe, utilizing egg noodles and spiced fillings.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Warmly spiced Arabian dum mixtureGround lamb or beef optional
- β1 lb Egg noodles
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β2 tbsp Ghee or vegetable oilfor frying
- β4 cups Waterfor boiling noodles
- β1 package Dumpling wrappers (optional)if unavailable use egg noodles
Instructions

Cook egg noodles in boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the spiced Arabian dum mixture and cook until browned.

Add the cooked noodles to the pan and stir well.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Using a spoon, form the mixture into dumpling shapes.

If using dumpling wrappers, place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each wrapper.

Fold the wrapper into a triangle and press the edges to seal.

Heat 2 tbsp of ghee or vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the dumplings to the pan and fry until golden brown.
