Thai Moo Ping
A classic Thai street food dish of grilled pork skewers served with a sweet and spicy sauce. Moo ping is often served as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β500g Pork shoulder
- β2 tablespoons Coconut milk
- β2 tablespoons Thai red curry paste
- β2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- β1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- β2 tablespoons Lime juice
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 tablespoon Moo ping spice mix
- β10-12 Ping (bamboo skewers)

1. In a blender or food processor, combine coconut milk, curry paste, brown sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, and garlic. Blend until smooth.

2. Thread pork onto bamboo skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

3. Brush the pork skewers with the blended mixture, making sure they're evenly coated.

4. Let the pork skewers marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

5. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

6. Grill the pork skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they're cooked through and slightly charred.

7. Serve the moo ping hot with your choice of sides, such as sticky rice or a simple salad.
