Slovakian Pancakes with Whipped Cream
A simple yet delicious Slovakian-inspired pancake recipe topped with a dollop of whipped cream and fresh creme fraiche.
Ingredients
- β145g 1 cup flour
- β2 items 2 eggs
- β50g 1/4 cup sugar
- β60ml 1/4 cup milk
- β1.25g 1/4 tsp salt
- β30g 2 tbsp butter, melted
- βto taste whipped creamfor topping
- βto taste creme fraichefor topping
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.

The batter should still be slightly lumpy.

Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.

Drop the batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto the pan.

Cook for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface.

Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
