Australian Sardine Tagliere
A simple, flavorful dish that combines the rich taste of sardines with the freshness of Australian ingredients.
Ingredients
- β250g Whole Australian Sardines in Olive Oil
- β200g Wholesome Whole Wheat Bread
- β120g Silky Feta Cheesecrumbling is recommended
- β1 pc Tagliere (flatbread)
- β1 pc Fresh Australian Lemonjuices only
- β2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- βto taste Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 200Β°C (392Β°F).

2. Slice the whole wheat bread into 1cm thick slices.

3. Place the slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.

4. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.

5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

6. Open the sardines and drain the liquid.

7. Place the sardines on top of the toasted bread slices.

8. Crumbling the feta cheese, sprinkle it over the sardines.

9. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the top.

10. Season with black pepper to taste.
