Wholesome Turkish Pilaf with Grapes
A flavorful and nutritious Turkish-inspired pilaf dish made with wholesome ingredients, served with sweet and tangy grapes on top.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup Wholesome Bulgurpreferably whole wheat or Kamut
- ●2 tablespoons Grape Molassesoptional, for added flavor
- ●1 cup, halved Grapesany variety, such as red or green
- ●1 teaspoon Turkish Spice Blenda mix of cumin, coriander, and paprika
- ●2 tablespoons Olive Oilfor cooking
- ●1 medium, chopped Onionany variety, such as red or yellow
- ●2 cloves, minced Garlicfor added flavor
- ●1 cup Pilafpreferably homemade or store-bought
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.

Add bulgur, Turkish spice blend, and pilaf. Stir to combine.

Add grape molasses (if using) and stir to coat the bulgur.

Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the bulgur is tender.

Fluff the pilaf with a fork and top with halved grapes.
