Turkish Stuffed Rice Dolma
A traditional Turkish dish, dolma is a flavorful rice and herb filling wrapped in grape leaves. This recipe serves a modern twist by using rice as the wrapping material.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons wholesome olive oil
- β1 medium chopped onionfinely chopped
- β1/4 cup chopped fresh parsleyfinely chopped
- β1/4 cup chopped fresh dillfinely chopped
- β1 teaspoon ground cumin
- β1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
- β1/2 teaspoon salt
- β1 package dolmaavailable in most international grocery stores

Rinse the rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.

Add the chopped parsley, chopped dill, cumin, paprika, and salt to the pan. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir to combine with the herb mixture.

Rinse the grape leaves and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut the leaves in half lengthwise.

To assemble the dolma, lay a grape leaf flat on a work surface, with the stem end facing you.

Place a tablespoon of the rice mixture in the center of the grape leaf.

Fold the stem end over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the leaf into a neat package.

Repeat with the remaining grape leaves and rice mixture.
