Egyptian Sushi Roll
A unique fusion of Egyptian and sushi flavors in a roll. The spicy kick of the wicked seasoning pairs well with the savory flavor of the cheese.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet Egyptian flatbreadavailable at most middle eastern markets
- β1 cup Sushi riceprepared according to sushi rice instructions
- β1/2 cup, shredded Cheeseany type of cheese works, but mozzarella is recommended
- β1 tsp Wicked seasoningadjust to taste
- β1/4 cup Pickled turnipsavailable at most middle eastern markets
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh parsleygarnish
- β1 sheet Sushi noriavailable at most sushi markets
Instructions

Prepare the sushi rice according to the instructions.

Cut the Egyptian flatbread into thin strips.

Mix the wicked seasoning with the shredded cheese.

Add the pickled turnips to the cheese mixture and mix well.

Lay a sheet of sushi nori flat on a cutting board.

Spread a thin layer of sushi rice onto the nori.

Place a few strips of the Egyptian flatbread on top of the rice.

Add the cheese-pickled turnip mixture on top of the flatbread.

Roll the sushi using a bamboo sushi mat.

Slice into individual rolls and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
