Spicy Wild Mushroom Dumplings
A fusion of wild mushroom flavors with the comforting warmth of Indian spices, wrapped in a tender dumpling wrapper.
Ingredients
- ●200g Wild MushroomsAssorted wild mushrooms such as shiitake and cremini
- ●1 package Fermented Dumpling DoughAvailable in most Asian grocery stores
- ●2 tsp Indian SpicesGaram masala, cumin, coriander, and turmeric
- ●1 medium OnionChopped
- ●2 cloves GarlicMinced
- ●1 tsp GingerGrated
- ●1 tsp Soy SauceOptional
- ●to taste SaltOptional

1. In a pan, sauté the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger until softened.

2. Add the wild mushrooms and Indian spices, cooking until the mushrooms release their liquid and start to brown.

3. Allow the mixture to cool, then mix in the soy sauce (if using) and season with salt to taste.

4. Divide the fermented dumpling dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.

5. Roll out each ball into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.

6. Place a tablespoon of the mushroom mixture in the center of each circle.

7. Fold the dough over the filling, forming a half-moon shape, and press the edges together to seal.

8. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, and gently add the dumplings.

9. Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the dumplings float to the surface.
