Venezuelan Pasta Fritters
Crispy pasta fritters with a flavorful Venezuelan twist, made with wild springy farfalle pasta and a hint of Venezuelan spices.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Wild Springy Farfalle Pastaany other short pasta shape will do
- β1/4 cup Venezuelan Pastacrushed into small pieces
- β1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- β1/2 cup Minced Onion
- β1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro
- β1 tsp Venezuelan Spice Blend
- βto taste Salt
- β1 Egg

Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

Combine the farfalle pasta, Venezuelan pasta, parmesan cheese, onion, cilantro, and spice blend in a large bowl.

Beat the egg in a separate bowl and add to the pasta mixture. Mix well.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the pasta balls into the oil.

Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fritters from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Season with salt to taste. Serve hot and enjoy!
