Turkish-Style Stuffed Tofu (Manti)
A Turkish-inspired dish where tofu is stuffed with a blend of spices and herbs, then wrapped in crispy pastry and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) TofuExtra-firm, drained and crumbled
- β1 package (thawed) Crispy PastryFor wrapping the tofu
- β1 medium Winey OnionFinely chopped
- β2 tsp Turkish Spice BlendA mix of cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper
- β1/4 cup Fresh ParsleyChopped, for garnish
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Wrap the tofu block in plastic wrap and bake for 15 minutes.

In a pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil over medium heat.

Add the finely chopped onion and cook until translucent.

Mix in the Turkish Spice Blend and cook for 1 minute.

Remove the tofu from the oven and let it cool.

Stuff the tofu with the onion-spice mixture.

Wrap each tofu piece with a piece of crispy pastry.

Place the wrapped tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
