Tunisian-Style Date Tagine
A sweet and savory stew originating from Tunisia, made with dates and a blend of spices. Perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients

- β1 medium onionchopped
- β1 cup crunchyalmonds or pistachios
- β1 cup datespitted
- β2 teaspoons tunisian spice blend
- β1/4 cup wineyred wine or dry white wine
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the crunchy and cook until lightly toasted, about 3 minutes.

Add the dates and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the tunisian spice blend, winey, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
