Thai Duck Legs with Prik Nam Sauce
A flavorful and spicy Thai-inspired dish featuring crispy duck legs in a rich and tangy prik nam sauce.
Ingredients

- β1/2 cup prik nam saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tbsp coconut oilfor frying
- β1 tsp fish sauceoptional
- β1 tsp brown sugaroptional
- β1/4 cup fresh cilantrochopped, for garnish
- β1/4 cup fresh basilchopped, for garnish

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Rinse the duck legs and pat dry with paper towels.

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil over medium-high heat. Sear the duck legs until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.

Transfer the duck legs to a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the duck legs are baking, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add the prik nam sauce and stir to combine.

If using fish sauce and brown sugar, stir them in at this point.

Once the duck legs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.

Serve the duck legs with the prik nam sauce spooned over the top. Garnish with chopped cilantro and basil.
