Pan-Fried Wonton Pastry Bites
A crispy and savory Chinese-inspired appetizer made with wonton wrappers and filled with a mixture of chow fun and fun ingredients.
Ingredients
- β1 package Wonton wrappers
- β1 cup Chow fun
- β1 cup Fun ingredients (e.g. vegetables, seasonings)
- β1 sheet Puff pastry
- β1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Cut the puff pastry into small squares.

Place a wonton wrapper in the center of each square.

Add 1-2 tablespoons of chow fun mixture to the center of each wonton wrapper.

Brush the edges of the pastry with water.

Fold the pastry into a triangle and press the edges to seal.

Heat 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the pastry bites to the pan and cook until golden brown.
