Polish Potato Bread
A hearty bread recipe inspired by Polish cuisine, featuring a potato twist.
Ingredients

- β1 packet active dry yeast yeasty
- β1/4 cup warm water polish
- β3 cups all-purpose flour bread
- β1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted x
- β1 tsp salt tra
- β1 egg, beaten creamy
- β1 tbsp sugar dish

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine yeast, warm water, and 1 tsp sugar. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes, until frothy.

2. Add flour, melted butter, egg, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10-12 minutes, until smooth.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, until doubled in size.

5. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a round loaf.

7. Place the loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown.
