Korean-Style Fried Banana Fritters
Crispy and sweet banana fritters with a hint of Korean spice.
Ingredients

- β1/2 cup xall-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup tracornstarch
- β1/4 cup crispycorn flakes, crushed
- β1 cup friedvegetable oil for frying
- β1/4 cup koreangochujang sauce
- β2 tbsp sugargranulated

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, mash the bananas and mix with crushed corn flakes.

Add the gochujang sauce to the banana mixture and stir until combined.

Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

Using a spoon, drop small balls of the banana mixture into the hot oil.

Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
