Spicy Tofu Ramen
A quick and flavorful Japanese-inspired dish made with spicy tofu, ramen noodles, and a variety of savory ingredients.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Ramen noodlesYour favorite brand
- β1 block TofuExtra-firm, drained and cut into small cubes
- β1 Tra eggBeaten for scrambling
- β2 tbsp X vegetable oilFor cooking
- β1 tsp Nutty sesame oilFor added flavor
- β1 tsp Japanese chili flakesOr substitute with sriracha
- β2 tbsp Soy sauceLow-sodium
- βchopped Green onionsFor garnish
Instructions

Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the cubed tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.

Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Add the beaten egg and scramble it until cooked through, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the Japanese chili flakes and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the cooked noodles, tofu, and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the noodles are well coated with the sauce.

Stir in the sesame oil and cook for 1 minute.

Transfer the Spicy Tofu Ramen to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped green onions.
