Slovakian Dumplings with Pineapple
A sweet twist on traditional Slovakian dumplings, filled with a pineapple and flaky pastry.
Ingredients
- β12 Slovakian dumplings
- β1/2 cup Pineapplefresh or canned
- β1 package Flaky pastry
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β2 Eggs
- β2 tablespoons Butter
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the flaky pastry to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of pastry using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a dumpling on each pastry circle.

Place a spoonful of pineapple on top of each dumpling.

Fold the pastry over the dumpling and press the edges together to seal.

Brush the tops of the dumplings with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Place the dumplings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
