Xenial Clafoutis
A French-inspired baked dessert featuring fresh bread and a hint of xanthous color.
Ingredients
- β 1 cup fresh bread, cubedpreferably stale
- β 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- β 1/4 cup xanthous honeyadjust to taste
- β 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- β 2 large eggs
- β 1/2 cup heavy cream

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, xanthous honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

Add the eggs one at a time, whisking until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and cubed bread.

Pour the cream-bread mixture into the sugar mixture and stir until combined.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the clafoutis is golden brown and set.
