Austrian Pasta with Currants
A unique and flavorful pasta dish that combines Austrian and Mediterranean flavors. The sweetness of currants pairs well with the savory sauce.
Ingredients
- β8 oz pastaany shape of your choice
- β1 cup currantsdried
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor cooking
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 cup tomato saucehomemade or store-bought
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
