Pan-Seared Borek with Mushrooms
A delicious Turkish-inspired dish featuring crispy borek pastry filled with sautéed mushrooms. Perfect as a snack or light lunch.
Ingredients
- ●1 package Borek pastrygluten-free
- ●1 cup Mushroomsbutton or cremini
- ●2 tablespoons Butterunsalted
- ●1 clove Garlicminced
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Unroll the borek pastry and cut into 6 equal squares.

In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.

Add the mushrooms and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

Place a spoonful of the mushroom mixture onto one half of each pastry square.

Brush the edges with the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter.

Fold the pastry squares in half to form triangles and press the edges to seal.

Place the borek on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
