Korean-Style Dosirak Tofu Bowl
A flavorful and healthy Korean-inspired bowl filled with marinated tofu, crunchy vegetables, and spicy gochujang sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 block Extra-firm tofudrained and cut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tsp Juicy Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β1 cup Dosirak rice
- β2 tbsp Korean chili paste (gochujang)
- β2 tbsp Soy sauce
- β1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- β1 tsp Sesame oil
- β1/4 cup Sliced green onions
- β1/4 cup Sliced toasted sesame seeds
- β1 medium Cucumber

Cook the dosirak rice according to package instructions.

In a large bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.

Add the cubed tofu to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the tofu from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Add the tofu to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

In a separate pan, toast the sesame seeds over low heat, stirring frequently, until lightly browned.

To assemble the bowls, place a scoop of cooked dosirak rice on the bottom, followed by the marinated tofu, sliced green onions, toasted sesame seeds, and cucumber slices.
